Known as the Romantic poet of the piano, Frédéric Chopin was only 4 years old when he started learning the piano, 8 years old when he performed publicly as a pianist and twelve years old when he became a widely-known musical performer cum virtuoso. Despite his short-lived musical career on account of an untimely death, Chopin’s incredible masterpieces have been influential to the development of classical music.

This three-CD must-have celebrates the musical virtuoso’s birth 200 years ago, featuring his greatest compositions set by renowned conductor Gilbert Varga, soloist Sequiera Costa, pianist Ronan O’Hara and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The album contains a total of 26 songs, Polonaise (l F sharp minor Polonaise works 44) and Nocturne (Nocturne in C-minor works No. 48), among them.
