American Road, is the 9th album of the triple Grammy-nominated vocalist Tierney Sutton and her band of 18 years. This includes deconstructions of some of the American-born compositions, and presenting them anew in their own inimitable way. All of the arrangements were conceived by the entire band.

Sutton’s vocal style has been described as “soft as silk and smooth as fine bourbon” by the Chicago Sun Times. The concept that ultimately gave rise to ‘American Road’ stayed with Sutton and the band having spent countless days and nights travelling America’s roads and playing in her towns and cities.
