With fellow Juilliard graduate, pianist Akira Eguchi, Meyers turned her renowned talents to Schubert’s Fantasie, Op. 159, Spiegel im Spiegel, the U.S. premiere of the Messiaen Fantasie, Piazzolla’s Introduction et Angel and Milonga en Re “Tango,” two ravishing arrangements of traditional Japanese folk songs, Kojo no Tsuki (Moonlight Over the Ruined Castle) and Haru no Umi (Sea in Spring).
