Rush Time Machine 2011: Live In Cleveland (Blu-ray)
Rush’s “Time Machine” shows in 2010 / 11 were one of the most anticipated tours ever. Celebrating 30 years since the 1981 release of their classic bestselling album “Moving Pictures” the band performed the entire album live for the first time as the centrepiece of the concerts. The shows also featured favourite tracks from across their lengthy career and two new songs expected to feature on their next studio album. As ever the concerts were a visual feast and sounded great with the band playing at the top of their form. Reviews for the tour have been amazing from both fans and critics alike and this Blu-ray release is guaranteed to appeal to Rush fans everywhere.

Once again, 4 day delivery from China to Europe! Very fast! Great reunion tour show from Mr Big, at the Budokan Hall in Tokyo. This show has all the favs in it, including a nice version of Smoke on the Water, covered by Mr Big offcourse, but with the members changing instruments. Very funny and good! DTS sound and a very clear HD vision. Again a " must have " bluray!

Deep Purple with Orchestra Live At Montreux 2011 (Blu-ray)
Filmed on the closing night of this year’s Montreux Festival on July 16, this concert features Deep Purple playing their classic hits with the accompaniment of a full symphony orchestra conducted by Stephen “BK” Bentley-Klein. The orchestral arrangements give an added depth and range to the familiar songs and the band, who are clearly enjoying the experience, deliver one of their finest performances. With a career stretching back into the late sixties and global album sales in excess of 100 million, Deep Purple need no introduction. They continue to record and perform around the world on an ongoing basis and remain of the finest hard rock bands on the planet as this live Blu-ray clearly shows.

Gary Moore Live at Montreux 2010 (Blu-ray)
2010 saw Gary Moore make a return to rock music after a long period of time exploring the blues. He was writing and working on a new rock album when all was brought to a halt by his untimely death on 6 February 2011. This concert from Montreux in July 2010 was his last performance to be filmed. The setlist draws heavily on his hugely successful rock albums of the eighties, stirs in a couple of his classic blues tracks with some memorable hit singles and includes three brand new songs that would have featured on the album left sadly uncompleted on his death. Gary Moore was one of the finest and most respected guitarists the British Isles have ever produced. This concert shows just what a talent we will miss.

Filmed at Tokyo’s famous Budokan Hall in April 2004, this Blu-ray captures Dream Theater on the tour in support of their 2003 album “Train Of Thought”. Most of the tracks from that album are included along with songs from right across their career. Dream Theater’s musical virtuosity is renowned and their live performances are legendary and this show from Japan is undoubtedly one of their finest. Filmed in high definition and now released on Blu-ray for the first time this is undoubtedly Dream Theater at their very best.

Though not released yet, and having the dvd for some years, I can write a review. This dvd captured them on the Big stage in Japan, the stage where many bands played. It`s the " Madison Square Garden " of Japan. It shows Dream Theater at their best, especially the instrumedley is worth seeing and listening. Suprisingly some songs from Falling into Infinity too! Buy this bluray, and you won`t be dissapointed!

Following the release of “Operation: Mindcrime II”, Queensrÿche performed both albums in their entirety on tour in a mammoth stage production featuring actors, staging and films. Filmed on this tour in high definition at the Moore Theater in the band’s hometown of Seattle over three nights in October 2006, “Mindcrime At The Moore” is now released on Blu-ray for the first time and presents these legendary albums as they were meant to be seen and heard.

It was the first US concert by the Dio / Iommi / Butler / Appice line-up for over 15 years and formed part of Heaven & Hell’s 2007 world tour. It was the success of this tour that led to the continued existence of Heaven & Hell, a new studio album and further live dates, and ongoing plans that were only curtailed by the sad death of Ronnie James Dio. A long reverberating bass sound intensifies the suspense – and suddenly the man who everyone is waiting for stands there at the edge of the stage: Michael Schenker. With a completely new sound, a technique that he devised himself, he played Welcome Howl which was immediately met with the enthusiasm of all his fans in the hall. Michael strums a few hefty riffs on his distinctive Flying V guitar and then it really gets going...
